Cyclone Separators

Anagha Cyclone Separators:

Cyclonic separation is a method of removing particulates from an air, gas or water stream, without the use of filters, through vortex separation. Rotational effects and gravity are used to separate mixtures of solids and fluids.

Industrial processes generate contaminants in different sizes, which can be economically separated by cyclones. We offer high efficiency cyclone separators designed to effectively remove large to moderate size particles (such as wood chips, metal grinding, saw dust, etc) from air / gas stream. We achieve high efficiency performance by use of optimum long taper cone, high velocity inlet and welded helix. Typical applications are: buffing, polishing, fiber glass/ plastic, sawing, grinding, wood working, machining, etc. We offer a variety of configurations such as individual, series & parallel operations depending on the application.

Application:

  • Carbon industry
  • Cement
  • Boiler applications
  • Foundry Applications
  • Metal melting and furnaces
  • Iron-Steel
  • Textile
  • Blast cleaning

  • Powder cleaning
  • Pulverising
  • Plastic processing
  • Fume extraction
  • SAW Pipes MFG
  • Pharma Industry
  • For air pollution control
  • Tailor made solutions are also available for higher capacities other than the standard models

How our cyclone works:

Cyclones Collectors are uniquely adapted to and recommended for many in-plant dust collection problems.

Typical applications are::

1.Handling large amounts of coarse dust: wood shops, Buffing and Polishing Operations, Paper Converters, Snagging, Re-tread Shops, Etc..

2. Where fires are possible: the fire is usually in the Cyclone dust catch. This is trash and represents little, if any, economic loss. Heavy sparking applications such as abrasive cut-off saws, belt sanders on ferrous metals and rubber grinding, etc.are some applications.

3. For classifying dusts: many applications are processing, finishing, chemical processes, etc. required that course and fine dusts be separated. In operation, the ?dirty? air stream enters the Cyclone inlet and the vortex generator puts it into a forced vortex flow. This vortex is intensified and accelerated by the unique geometry of the cylindrical body and the long tapered cone. The dust being heavier, is flung outward and concentrated by the tornadic forces until, at the bottom of the cone, it is thrown into the quiescent dust catch-quite literally a controlled tornado at work!

Cyclones can be installed indoors or outdoors. The cleaned air can be returned to the plant or vented outside.

The? heart? of these Anagha designs and manufactures all its own blowers specifically and solely for these collectors. They are mounted integrally on the cyclone and handle only cleaned air. Thus, they are not subject to the abrasion, stickiness and build up that plague some competitive designs where the blower precedes the Cyclone.
